We’ve created a new line of DVDs for Level 33 Entertainment.

Aaah! Zombies!! has become a smash hit amongst comedy lovers and horror fans alike. In fact, Amazon.com has ranked this title #22 in their list of independently distributed titles.

Blues is an exhilarating crime thriller starring Ty Hodges and Sydney Poitier. The Independent Critic rated it 3 out of 4 stars.

Scouts Honor stars Chris Kattan and Fred Willard. It’s full of silly humor and has officially been called “the dumbest comedy ever made.” One critic adds, “Likely best viewed under some kind of intoxication…” Sounds like a winner!

3D Blu-ray Discs

Technicolor Creative Services in Burbank, California contracted Koren Young to author titles for studios including Universal, Disney and Relativity Media. Koren also authored several 3D Blu-rays for Warner Bros including Legend of the Guardians, Yogi Bear and IMAX Hubble 3D. Look for these discs at retailers everywhere either sold individually or bundled with 3D Blu-ray players.

Golden Reel Award

Every year, the Motion Picture Sound Editors acknowledge the year’s best work in the various areas of sound editing: Dialogue & ADR, Effects & Foley, and Music. The 58th annual Golden Reel Awards Ceremony was held on February 20, 2011. Ryan Young and the team from 30 Days of Night:Dark Days took home the award for Best Sound Editing in a Direct-to-Video Live Action Film.

Coppin’ a Feel

Our friend is a comedy singer/songwriter popular in the Los Angeles area. He needed a music video for his song Coppin’ A Feel and approached Koren from Arcay Studios to direct it. What he got was music, action and beautiful women all rolled into a fun little package. The video has been viewed tens of thousands of times and has been featured in various websites and podcasts.

When Indican Pictures needed to create another Blu-ray Disc, they came to Arcay Studios for the compression and authoring. This fun horror film stars Jake Hoffman, Ralph Macchio & Devon Aoki and was directed by Jordan Galland. It’s been met with tremendous response by reviews on Fangoria and Amazon.

Swine Time

Well-Oiled Machine has completed production on Swine, a short film trilogy scheduled to be released at Comic-Con 2011. Much of the post production was completed here at Arcay Studios including editing, visual effects, sound design and DVD/Blu-ray encoding.
